Next in the series we focus on one of the rising stars of the Italian scene, Rebecca Delle Piane. With her musical style defined by the 90's sound but with her attention to create gripping tension throughout the tracks, this got quickly noted by artists as Modullar, Ben Sims and Bas Mooy. Now she started her own label Night Garden, with a first EP that combines the deep but peak-time approach.
The next hour, she displays exactly that and it's certain you will see her play all over Europe very soon.

BIO:
Rotterdam home-based dj/producer Bas Mooy (1976) has been active on many fronts in the techno scene since 1999. Heavily influenced by a city that breaths industrial strength twenty-fourseven, he gradually found his way into creating an unique dark sound, which lead him to the forefront of the global techno scene.

In 2002 he kickstarted Audio Assault Records with label partner Jeroen Liebregts aka Radial, which resulted in the birth of sublabel Arms one year later. In 2013 Bas started his solo project Mord Records, which rapidly gained a huge fanbase worldwide and has been a major force in techno ever since. 
 
For almost twenty years Bas was a member of the Rotterdam underground collective ‘Strictly Techno’, creators of over a hundred legendary parties since the late nineties.
 
Bas has always been a hard working and devoted producer, releasing music on respected labels such as Mote Evolver, Perc Trax, Pole Group, 47, CLR, Sleaze Records, Planet Rhythm and of course his own imprints Audio Assault and Mord Records. With Mord Records turning 10 in 2023, Bas shows no sign of slowing down.

Marcel Dettmann is a rarity in electronic music. His precocious disdain for rules has been one of the key ingredients for a decades-spanning arc that started sometime around the fall of the Berlin Wall (with early exposure to post-punk, industrial and synth pop) and continues to this day. His leitmotif is instantly recognisable, expertly layered, playfully syncopated, and though his influence is everywhere, no one quite manages to copy his pioneering sound. His formative influences surface frequently, serious atonal arrangements that follow the logic of EBM descending into a flurry of protean melodies; maybe this versatility is why, for a long time now, Dettmann’s sound has been so synonymous with a city in flux. Multi-dimensional creative and creative director at Dekmantel, Albert van Abbe has been a significant presence in the audio-visual sphere for over two decades, producing everything from minimalistic soundscapes to hardcore acid tracks. 

His music often blends melancholic and uplifting elements, creating an emotionally complex listening experience. Van Abbe is also known for his innovative live performances and is actively involved in experimenting with new formats for live music. He has collaborated with the likes of Byetone and Speedy J and has releases on Raster and Avian.

Here is a set recording from one of my most valuable events, CODA by Ratherlost x Pax-Roama at Lofi. I put a massive effort into that night, thinking about the past and future of my DJ career. I communicated best with the dancers and could express myself in a way that only I could. Sometimes I feel insecure about my life as a DJ. CODA gave me all the answers.
