It was in 2014 when a mutual friend introduced me to Victor Ruiz while he was staying here in Berlin. I invited Victor to my studio where we had a fantastic session, playing our music to each other, listening to stuff we like and simply talkin and connecting. Since then, we became close friends as well as starting to work together. Victor has released two outstanding EPs on Electric Ballroom by now. This summer we met again and recorded three tracks. The result is our first joint EP, of which I am very proud. (Thomas Schumacher, November 2015)

Having originally caught the eye of BBC Introducing, and more recently the legendary label Metalheadz, Draft is becoming an artist to keep a close eye on. His musical output sits somewhere between dancefloor and downtime, all whilst keeping in line with an output you haven't quite heard before. Experimental and deliberately difficult to categorise, Draft’s music draws on a selection of bass heavy sub-genres, referencing everything from drum and bass and dubstep to melodically glitch-driven chaos, all whilst keeping you wanting more. As he effortlessly flits from one bpm to another, Draft reveals a distinct sonic identity that is fresh, unique and downright impressive. Preferring to let his music speak for itself, there is plenty more to come from the 25 year old, including his Boiler Room debut in the Metalheadz takeover session, and a summer of festival shows. With an EP, album and various remixes lined up, 2012 is certainly going to be a year to sit up and take note.

As the newest member to the elite mau5trap artist roster, Liam Tallon, aka Draft, debuted in 2013 under UKF’s electronic label Pilot. With his bespoke brand of meticulously melodic, bass-heavy electronica, his first EP provided wide acclaim and provided him a platform to a further 2 EPs, before he joined the deadmau5' famed mau5trap family.   

Tallon has since released twice on the 'We Are Friends' albums (the only artist to both times curate/produce the full-length accompanying mixes) , as well as having 2 EP releases – the latter garnering huge plaudits for his original portrayal of electronica.   

2017 now holds more releases, live shows, collaborations and a venture into the visual side of music production, with the continuation of his highly regarded ‘Inside The Project’ video series
