'Join The Dots', the album, will be released through Heavenly Recordings on Monday 9th December 2013.

It follows TOY's self-titled debut album which was released in September 2012, also recorded with Dan Carey in his South London studio.

川崎昭（ドラム、ピアノ）、清田敦（ピアノ、キーボード）、新留大介（ピアノ、キーボード）のトリオから成るmouse on the keysは、作品数は少ないながらも、コアな音楽好きからミュージシャン、音楽業界に数多くのファンを持つ事で知られ、高く評価されている日本最高峰のポストロックバンド。

People Flavor is a four-piece rock and roll outfit from Montebello, California. While new on the scene, the band can trace its genesis back to a teenaged solo project dreamt up by frontman Fernando Andrade, along with best bro Byron Turner joining the process soon after. The pair then recruited high school cronies Giovanni Padilla and Andrew Valdez, to become the collaborative effort they are today. Since rounding out the lineup in 2015, People Flavor have been busy playing shows at house parties, DIY venues and some of Los Angeles’ most notable musical mainstays such as The Bootleg Theater, CIA, and Los Globos.

Continually crafted through the writing and recording process, their distinct sound incorporates jazz chords with post- and dance-punk elements, delivering it all with 80’s new wave sensibility. The boys are heavily influenced by slinky Spanish rock and the refined cool of British tunes, evoking a likeness to both an Hispanic Duran Duran and early Radiohead. Contrasting with their dance-inducing grooves, the lyrics tend to focus on the more melancholic aspects of life and love, magically manipulating you into feeling good about being sad. Ultimately, People Flavor is a sonic experiment in self-expression geared towards finding yourself in others and finding the others in yourself.

'I wrote this song a few months ago, in one sitting, after getting back from an extended holiday. The instrumental production and lyrics are very raw, which reflects the state of mind I was in at the time. Although I've been planning to release an EP of 4 songs (which are very close to being ready) for a long time, I've decided to release this newest song first, as it feels right. 000 Palms marks a return to Surfer Blood's DIY ethos. Abandoning the big time studio, the band decided to head back home to self-record and self-produce their third full-length album. Free of major-label-influence, Surfer Blood have delivered a uniquely compelling album, unlike anything in their catalog.

The story of 1000 Palms began on January 1st 2014, after playing a New Year’s show in Portland, OR, the band decided to stick around for the rest of the month, renting a practice space and sorting through a backlog of ideas. By February, as their lease ran out, Surfer Blood had recorded demos for most of the tracks that now feature on their third LP.

After a frustrating time at previous home Warner Brothers, the quartet were beyond ready to return to a more DIY recording process, completely void of the middlemen scrutinizing every bar of previous LP Pythons. With the band self-recording it was in the glamorous setting of an attic studio above a doctor’s office where drums were committed to tape. Frontman John Paul Pitts states "fortunately none of us are strangers to DIY recording, so it was a challenge well-suited to our band".

The making of 1000 Palms also owes a lot to the kindness of friends and family, with the remaining instrument sessions taking place at the home of drummer Tyler Schwartz’s parents while they were on vacation. Following a few days of very little sleep and after the band pooled resources and called in favors, the band had managed to craft everything you now hear on the record.
