This mix goes one full circle of BPMs, starting at 70 and going up to 140. I wanted to make a mix that strays away from my usual mixes of a slow, growing progression, of many layers and focus more on a selection of tracks I love, old and new. This is not about showcasing new music or about this normal mixtape concept but more like one of those old mixes of your favourite tracks taped from the radio ;) I embraced the fact that Pingipung are open to anything and this allowed me to experiment a bit more and put in tracks I wouldn't normally consider, from jazz to old-school Deep Medi Dubstep. Big thanks to Pingipung for the invite!!

@djisis created a pallet of music that inspired her: "The name of this Offcast is Samhain. This is one of the eight Celtic celebrations of the year in which we honor the end of the summer. We look back at the previous period, honor the dead, take leave of all that we no longer want to carry with us and with that we create room for something new. So everything you hear in this Offcast is in line with the spirit of this time of the year. I think it’s important to know our culture and roots in order to know where we are heading too."

Dragana, a Bosnian-born artist currently based in Mexico, creates an emotionally present experience as she delves into the essence of rare underground electronic sounds.
