This is "Live" one track - reel-to-reel  
#robbieseidman Lead Sings & Slaps his Knees  
I do my best Pete Townsend on Acoustic Guitar
and come in on the kinks type chorus 
Robbie was a better singer than I at the time 
& Kills on this & would grow-up to write
'Summer Rain' for Belinda Carlyle 
But as a song...
This was a serious confidence builder for me 
As both an artist & songwriter... 
My summer vacation  
2 weeks in Israel & 2 weeks in Europe
Was eye-opening 
I was able to put myself in context
In three-droney verses 

I was so worried I'd forget this...
The night before the plane home
I went into a record store in London
where they had booths to record your voice    
and I recorded a 2 minute version of this that I still have
But would need peter jackson to salvage sonically... 
So this version with Robbie singing is the best available

SOMEDAY SOON

The Ulysses butterfly, or Papilio ulysses, is a large swallowtail butterfly native to Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands. It is a common sight in the rainforests of Cairns, Queensland. The Ulysses butterfly is known for its striking blue and black wings, which can reach up to 14 cm in length. The males have a bright blue patch on their forewings, while the females have a more subdued blue color. The Ulysses butterfly is a fast and erratic flier, making it difficult to photograph. It is most active on sunny days, when it can be seen feeding on nectar from flowers. The Ulysses butterfly is an important pollinator of rainforest plants. It is also a popular tourist attraction, and many people visit Cairns specifically to see this beautiful butterfly.

Written in 1966 - 
Recorded in my childhood bedroom on an Ampex - reel to reel - In 1967 With Marvin Goodfriend – Soon he'd bring along his bud – Peter Noah – guitar/piano singer/songwriter – Hummingbird was born – We knew we sounded good together and had a cool New Rochelle vocal blend – we grew up together – we lived within a half mile of each other – went to same elementary/middle and high school – Marvin who died in 2019  had the coolest voice – even his speaking voice was warm and memorable – I eventually ended-up in LA in 1970 – Staying at first with Peter’s parents who'd moved from New Rochelle 6-months before I did – So, during the summers of ‘71 ‘2 & ‘3  Peter & Marvin came to LA where we recorded what ended-up on "Sweethearts, Deluxe" – The music industry was 'sketchy' and Marvin who was on the conservative side was appalled by my manager – he would soon would bail and grow-up to become a well-respected man –
