Rory is a multi award-winning Music Producer/DJ and Film Maker. His music career has seen him producing 8 critically acclaimed albums and numerous EP’s, Singles, Remixes and Collaborations with other artists worldwide on various worldwide labels. Rory covers many genres including House, Funk, HIp-Hop, Big Beat, Breaks, Chillout and many more. Some of his tracks have been used as background music on internal American Airlines and in stores like Macy’s. He has also produced tracks for Film, TV and Adverts including tracks for Disney, Sony BET TV, Fox TV, Costco, Audi Asia and the Tour De France Documentary and is constantly working on new syncs. He has DJ’ed throughout the country in clubs and at Major Festivals including Leeds Festival, he was the Opening Act at the 2014 Tour de France Fan Park performing to over 20,000 people and has DJ’d in Paris  for the Crea Sourire Charity for Sick Children.

In September 2018, Rory had a book published, ‘The Little Big Beat Book’ where he interviewed 120 major artists of the 1990s Dance Scene including Fatboy Slim and The Prodigy. The book reached No.1 in the Amazon Dance Music Book Charts. His second book The Beatles: Acting Naturally; Obscure, Rare, Unfinished and Abandoned film & TV Projects of the Fab Four’ has just been published in 2021 to rave reviews.

His film ‘Autism And Me’ is published worldwide on DVD together with a booklet he’s written explaining in easy to understand terms what it’s like living with Autism on a daily basis. Some of his awards are listed below and he has seen praise for his work from people like Paul McCartney, Stephen Fry, Craig Charles, Fatboy Slim, Michael Palin,  Jane Asher among others. He works constantly to promote understanding of Autism, going into schools and organisations where they show his film to do Q&A Sessions and gets messages from all over the world from grateful families. In fact, one American mother said she felt she knew her son for the first time having watched Rory’s film. 

He’s been on British and American TV, Radio and Press a number of times over the past few years, and has been called ‘Inspirational’ and a ‘trailblazer’.

Ostrich has carved a path as a DJ and producer, pushing a minimalistic sound that pulls from downtempo, dub, deep house, and techno. As a DJ, these disparate sounds are woven together in a creative arch at venues such as Stereo Montreal—where he is a resident—Berghain/Panorama Bar, Output NY, BPM Festival, SXM Festival in Saint Martin, and D-Edge in Sao Paulo, among many others.

On the production front, he follows a similar sonic ethos, creating enticing, groove-led cuts that have found their way to labels including Leftroom Records, Ark To Ashes, High Seas Over, Opulence, Souvenir Music and Sublease, in addition to being featured on John Digweed's Transitions radio show, Andre Galluzzi's The Sound of Berlin 2010, and Ryan Crosson and Matt Tolfrey's Don't Be Leftout mix compilation.

Over a long period, Patrick Lindsey has developed a well-deserved reputation as a forward-thinking dance music maker. He's also become a highly regarded tastemaker, DJing quite literally in every German club; pushing electronic experimentation in his own music. Alongside Ciri Ceiver, Heiko Laux and others. Patrick has written history when it comes to the challenging and unique side of the Frankfurt sound. His amazing feel to communicate with music has made him attractive for the producers of now. He has his own label set up called Funkwelle and has been producing Monika Kruse's music on Terminal M for a longer period.
Patrick has recently released music on Hideout, Suara, Systematic, Phil Kieran Rec, Dubfires label SCI +TECl. He has also done remixes for Radio Slave,Phil Kieran & Green Velvet, Adam Beyer, Marc Romboy, Thomas Schumacher and Oliver Huntemann.
Patrick Lindsey is not that kind of artist who likes to hide behind the mixing-console performing isolated. It..s about his friendly and extroverted personality always trying to be as close as possible to the crowd constantly motivated to rock the “house” with them together. Lindsey..s DJ-style is defined by precise mixing, endless transitions and perfect arranged “cuts” and “effect-sequences”. In 2002, the project “Bad Pimps” came into existence where Lindsey and is Belgium friend Stanny Franssen a.k.a. G-Force primarily focusing on mixing techno-tracks with other music influences like “Chicago or Booty-House, James Brown, Herbie Hancock or the Beastie Boys, to name just a few. 3 turntables, 3 laptops, 2 cd-players plus the necessary live-act-equipment create an extraordinary party-feeling where both the djing- and live-act-component are performed as one harmonious flow resulting in a fresh experience with a huge portion of “funk”. It doesn't play a role if Patrick Lindsey is performing as a solo-artist (since 1994) or as a team-player: He wants to deliver a unique show demonstrating his well-developed skills in the field of hard- and software, night by night.
