This is a guest mix recorded specially by SINGLE VISION for Profound Records, which contains the latest Profound Records releases and some of his 2022 favorites. Having discovered Psychedelic Trance in the year 2002 at a party in Goa, Vishal Sabnani aka Single Vision was instantly drawn towards the culture. He decided to give DJ’ing a shot while dabbling with various sub genres within Psychedelic Trance and played across Goa to begin with. Originally from Mumbai, Vishal relocated back to his birthplace Dubai where he found home at RAVELATIONS by launching himself under his alias, SINGLE VISION. The resident DJ of Dubai’s premiere & most consistent Psytrance portal (RAVELATIONS)for more than a decade, Single Vision has had the opportunity to perform worldwide playing alongside heavy weights. The rise in SINGLE VISION in the Middle East led him to officially join DIGITAL OM PRODUCTIONS as a leading label DJ. "An Intelligent progressive journey into full-on psychedelic sounds" is how Vishal describes the SINGLE VISION experience. Usually slotted during sundown for a transition set, he delivers a perfect balance of power and flow. Dragonfly Records is excited to share this special project from Gabriel Le Mar with you. 'The Unified Field' is a collaborative effort between some of our scenes most influential labels and artists with the vision and purpose to show we are all connected and united by music.

Joined by Ace Ventura, Jossie Telch, Mindbenderz, Silent Sphere, DM-Theory, Groovetitan and Innerzone, this album spans full-on, progressive, goa and psychedelic techno, resulting in a fantastic variety of dancefloor magic.

We will also be releasing a mirror to this with a full length album on our sister label Liquid Sound Design, focusing on downtempo electronica and funky grooves, featuring many of the same artists and the same tune... but with a more mellow twist.

Deck Wizards 2 - Tsuyoshi Suzuki (Goa Trance mix, 1996) 🕉

Dragonfly Records emerges from the cocoon and spreads its wings to fly again.
After a 15 years hibernation since the last release, finally the much anticipated re-launch has arrived and with it comes an exciting new installment of the seminal Order Odonata compilation series.  Next up is a full artist album from label head YOUTH, coming spring 2020.

Dragonfly Records was founded by Martin 'Youth' Glover in 1993 and was based at his Butterfly Studios in Brixton, London and was a seminal label in the Electronic trance music lineage and arguably the first UK / European Goa Trance label.

In early days pretty much all the main trance producers were working out of Butterly/Dragonfly. TIP, Flying Rhino, Total Eclipse and Hallucinogen, (Simon Posford and Ott were part of Butterfly’s in house engineer/production team). Early releases also included Goa produced music like Mandragora and Space Tribe. 

At the same time Butterfly was hosting The Orb, Laurent Garnier and The Drum club and many other artists were rubbing shoulders with our own artists, producers and engineers, as well as putting on multi-media parties and events.

Art exhibitions with Jimmy Cauty (KLF), theatrical productions, talks in the garden with such psychedelic luminaries as Terrance McKenna, Fraser Clarke, Brian Barritt and Lee Harris as well as some legendary huge outdoor raves, all of which combined to create an Arts Lab and a creative utopian hub unlike anything London has seen since the early days of Punk or even the late 60’s Summer Of Love.   

Today all of this legacy has magically alchemised into “Space Mountain” the state of the art studio built by Youth in Andalusia, Spain at the end of the 90’s and which now hosts The Space Mountain International Cosmic Arts Lab festival.
