Giving the celebration new purpose Nova Fractal is handed the sacred scepter by none other than arch wizard Dr. Spook who combines forces to issue forth this tome of secret treasures. From the four quarters of the world, the call is heard. The prophesied day is coming when the messengers of the sky gods would come and reveal to the worthy the arcane secrets and mystical methods. And so it was a gathering like Zone had ever seen before, Wizards and Warlocks, Witches and Wiccan, Sorcerers and Sychophants, Conjurers and Incantationists, and so many more' on they came bringing their own secret boxes and stuffed stash pouches, chests and coffers, and countless more contraptions of magical might. Together the greatest 18 formed a circle and began a momentous casting of all their most powerful spells, each releasing the power in tandem with the next, fluidly and flawlessly manifesting gestures and uttering half muttered phrases. As this great conflagration reaches its crescendo a series of hidden portals open and usher forth the heralds from the higher continuum. Dragonfly Records emerges from the cocoon and spreads its wings to fly again.
After a 15 years hibernation since the last release, finally the much anticipated re-launch has arrived and with it comes an exciting new installment of the seminal Order Odonata compilation series.  Next up is a full artist album from label head YOUTH, coming spring 2020.

Dragonfly Records was founded by Martin 'Youth' Glover in 1993 and was based at his Butterfly Studios in Brixton, London and was a seminal label in the Electronic trance music lineage and arguably the first UK / European Goa Trance label.

In early days pretty much all the main trance producers were working out of Butterly/Dragonfly. TIP, Flying Rhino, Total Eclipse and Hallucinogen, (Simon Posford and Ott were part of Butterfly’s in house engineer/production team). Early releases also included Goa produced music like Mandragora and Space Tribe. 

At the same time Butterfly was hosting The Orb, Laurent Garnier and The Drum club and many other artists were rubbing shoulders with our own artists, producers and engineers, as well as putting on multi-media parties and events.

Art exhibitions with Jimmy Cauty (KLF), theatrical productions, talks in the garden with such psychedelic luminaries as Terrance McKenna, Fraser Clarke, Brian Barritt and Lee Harris as well as some legendary huge outdoor raves, all of which combined to create an Arts Lab and a creative utopian hub unlike anything London has seen since the early days of Punk or even the late 60’s Summer Of Love.   

Today all of this legacy has magically alchemised into “Space Mountain” the state of the art studio built by Youth in Andalusia, Spain at the end of the 90’s and which now hosts The Space Mountain International Cosmic Arts Lab festival.
