The entire existing world is the dream of Buddha, as some of the most ancient spiritual teachings tell us. The year 2000 was a very important time for the whole planet, and Psytrance really changed from Goa Trance around that time. Goa is over 20 years old in the mean time. Time to have a retrodelic look! For this I dug in my huge cd & vinyl collection and decided to make a mix for every year for the period 1994-2015 to show the "new" generation of goa people how goa-trance evolved, and never really died ;)

This seventh mix is about 1998, mixed with 2 CDJ1000s and Pioneer djm300 (no lap top mixing involved!). Like usual, a serious challenge! All styles are captured in 1 mix... Hopefully it sounds like a good story! :) The next mix will be about 1999! :) So, have a look, a listen, download it and make sure to buy the music if you like it!

I have joined Dat Records last year, with the recommendation of few great and important friends of mine like Roy Sasson, Nahum Elyahu, Astral Fairy and a few more, and on the last Zna Festival (2019) where I went with my Wife we made it official. 
I have joined, because the label agenda was similar to mine and it was all about Old School Goa Trance and 90's Goa Trance music.  Earlier, I did not get to the spotlights and preferred to stay hidden, but Federico’s concept was great for me and with the music i play and collect, it surely was the right thing to do. 

This set contains some tracks from the Mind Rewind compilation series, with unreleased tracks publish by Dat Records, a series whose whole income from is donated to charity organizations. I chose also other tracks from DAT Recs releases, so have fun and continue support the label, they need it as much as we enjoy listening to their great releases.

Dragonfly Records emerges from the cocoon and spreads its wings to fly again.
After a 15 years hibernation since the last release, finally the much anticipated re-launch has arrived and with it comes an exciting new installment of the seminal Order Odonata compilation series.  Next up is a full artist album from label head YOUTH, coming spring 2020.

Dragonfly Records was founded by Martin 'Youth' Glover in 1993 and was based at his Butterfly Studios in Brixton, London and was a seminal label in the Electronic trance music lineage and arguably the first UK / European Goa Trance label.

In early days pretty much all the main trance producers were working out of Butterly/Dragonfly. TIP, Flying Rhino, Total Eclipse and Hallucinogen, (Simon Posford and Ott were part of Butterfly’s in house engineer/production team). Early releases also included Goa produced music like Mandragora and Space Tribe. 

At the same time Butterfly was hosting The Orb, Laurent Garnier and The Drum club and many other artists were rubbing shoulders with our own artists, producers and engineers, as well as putting on multi-media parties and events.

Art exhibitions with Jimmy Cauty (KLF), theatrical productions, talks in the garden with such psychedelic luminaries as Terrance McKenna, Fraser Clarke, Brian Barritt and Lee Harris as well as some legendary huge outdoor raves, all of which combined to create an Arts Lab and a creative utopian hub unlike anything London has seen since the early days of Punk or even the late 60’s Summer Of Love.   

Today all of this legacy has magically alchemised into “Space Mountain” the state of the art studio built by Youth in Andalusia, Spain at the end of the 90’s and which now hosts The Space Mountain International Cosmic Arts Lab festival.
