Dragonfly Records is excited to share a special project with you, a collaborative effort between different artists from different labels all coming together in one place, with one common thread: Gabriel Le Mar. 'The Unified Field' is 7 tracks of fine collaborations to include Ace Ventura, Jossie Telch, Mindbenderz, Silent Sphere, DM-Theory, Groovetitan and Innerzone. This album spans full-on, progressive, goa and psytechno, resulting in a fantastic variety of dancefloor magic.
The idea of this project is to show how we are all connected and united by music! We will also be releasing a mirror to this with a full length album on our sister label Liquid Sound Design, focusing on downtempo electronica and funky grooves, featuring many of the same artists but with a more mellow twist.

Kilian Horvath & Ramon Rocchinotti are XV Kilist & Rocco. Having known each other since they were able to walk and talk , they began dj-ing in the late 90's. It was clear from the outset that making their own music would be the ultimate goal of that project.

Just in time for the end of the millennium Kilian released his first 12" vinyl as XV Kilist on Spiral Trax International, followed by two albums and many singles on various labels. A year later the guys decided to consolidate into a dj/producer team touring around the globe.

Their style is hard to describe; while it is a crossbreed of different genres and influences that change with every production, it remains always danceable, fresh'n funky, with the goal to touch people and to provide us all with a good time on the dancefloor.

XV Kilist & Rocco

Don’t miss ONE FUNCTION’s set in the newest episode of Iono Music series.

Music has One Function ñ To make you feel.
From the second the sound waves hit your body and soul it touches your nerves and transforms your senses.
Where and how will that feeling take you in the sonic journey depends on your mood, personality and your surroundings.
But it is that first contact point, that magical moment when you get hooked that set the rest of the tune.
This One Function, the first contact point will be facilitated by Jenia Akerman from Israel.
Akerman started his musical experimentation since he was 16 years old, playing in outdoor parties and quickly having the itch to make his own music.
Influenced by inspirational artists such as The Delta, Cosma and Hallucinogen, Akerman decided to take his craft seriously and at the age of 19 went to BPM music School.
Polishing his ideas and artistic identity, he released his first release in 2009 called Tropical Energy on Spliff Music.
Exploring his abilities even further, in 2011 Jenia started his first solo project Unicode, a melodic and uplifting Progressive Trance fusion.
As Unicode, Akerman released his tunes in all the big labels such as Iboga, Blue Tunes, Spin Twist and Iono Music.

As Jeniaís project developed he decided to go back to his roots with Progressive Trance under the alias One Function.
In this project Akerman decided to focus more on spirituality, while combining oriental vocals and old school elements, which create his own unique psychedelic interpretation.
His first release as One Function ñ Back to My Roots EP – was released in 2015 on Iono Music and received immediate attention across the world.
Supported by the biggest names in the Psytrance scene, from Protonica , John 00 Fleming , Egorythmia, Yahel and Guadium he is conquering the global sonic sphere.
After playing in many indoor and outdoor events including: Australia, Swiss, Germany, Israel, France, Argentina,
his path to your One Function is set.

DJ MIX - Spring 2019

Dragonfly Records emerges from the cocoon and spreads its wings to fly again.
After a 15 years hibernation since the last release, finally the much anticipated re-launch has arrived and with it comes an exciting new installment of the seminal Order Odonata compilation series.  Next up is a full artist album from label head YOUTH, coming spring 2020.

Dragonfly Records was founded by Martin 'Youth' Glover in 1993 and was based at his Butterfly Studios in Brixton, London and was a seminal label in the Electronic trance music lineage and arguably the first UK / European Goa Trance label.

In early days pretty much all the main trance producers were working out of Butterly/Dragonfly. TIP, Flying Rhino, Total Eclipse and Hallucinogen, (Simon Posford and Ott were part of Butterfly’s in house engineer/production team). Early releases also included Goa produced music like Mandragora and Space Tribe. 

At the same time Butterfly was hosting The Orb, Laurent Garnier and The Drum club and many other artists were rubbing shoulders with our own artists, producers and engineers, as well as putting on multi-media parties and events.

Art exhibitions with Jimmy Cauty (KLF), theatrical productions, talks in the garden with such psychedelic luminaries as Terrance McKenna, Fraser Clarke, Brian Barritt and Lee Harris as well as some legendary huge outdoor raves, all of which combined to create an Arts Lab and a creative utopian hub unlike anything London has seen since the early days of Punk or even the late 60’s Summer Of Love.   

Today all of this legacy has magically alchemised into “Space Mountain” the state of the art studio built by Youth in Andalusia, Spain at the end of the 90’s and which now hosts The Space Mountain International Cosmic Arts Lab festival.
