On several occasions, throughout various compositions of mine, I’ve emphasized how a melody or theme was based on something I wrote long ago, during my teenage years.
In this instance, the main theme is probably one of the very first things I ever composed—likely my first 'Eureka' moment, when I first gained some clarity about my musical gifts. Needless to say, this melody holds immense personal significance.
After all this time, I’ve finally decided to properly honor it by writing a set of variations.

I began writing the harmony and the main guitar riffs of this song right on Blackout Tuesday. Watching antiracism protests around the world, really got me inspired. Hence the title of the song.

Dragon Pilots consist of, at present, Dave and Regina Zeedyk. Regina has a beautiful voice and provides the bulk of the vocals. Dave does not, although he can at least carry a tune, and plays all of the instruments. We are kicking off our musical collaboration with a series of covers and will gradually move into more original material. 

Our name is inspired by our favorite video game of all time….Spyro the Dragon.

Ladat, born Ladislav Tesar, is Litomerice (Czech republic) native, body and soul, who writes and composes his music in Chatel-St-Denis, Switzerland. Ladat is not a band in the true sense of the word, but rather a musical project that emerged in 2019 as an escape from reality, because things go better with music.

Ladat's musical odyssey defies conventional labels and freely blends elements of rock, folk, country, and jazz into a rich and genre-bending style that invites listeners to explore the diverse spectrum of influences that shape his emotional and diverse compositions.
