The Full Body Workout series has always been a favorite of fans and artists alike due to the selection of exclusive music that is not only perfect for listening, but also for the dancefloor. The series has always strived to shine a light on the scene as we see it. After 16 volumes already, the 17th is no exception and better than ever. 
Thomas Gandey, Betoko and John Monkman are just a few names you’ll find here. Nestled next to the known-artists are relative newcomers like Doomwork, Definition, Moonwalk, ME & her and more. The entire compilation has been brilliantly mixed by Zoo Brazil; who’s track ‘Back To You’ is also featured on the compilation. Zoo Brazil used analog band echoes, tape delays and effects to give an extra flavor to the mix. So let’s celebrate the 17th volume, and look forward to the next!

The next EP on Just This comes from Octual, an established figure on the Dutch underground techno circuit. His 3rd release to date is an exploration into melody and beat composition – a journey through uncharted territory.
“Jupiter’s moon” presents a fleeting view of different landscapes - claps and hi-hats depict the lights and shadows of a sublunary word. “Untold Places” reaches an otherworldly place where rhythm and metre counteract each other and obscure sounds sway us in and out of reality.
Amsterdam based electronic pioneer Sterac provides two remixes, analysing and repurposing the molecular details of Octual’s productions.
His first rework of ‘Jupiter’s Moon’ provides a stunning and heartfelt view, exploring the intersection of each artist’s approach. For the dub version he reveals a darker sentiment, creating a dancefloor oriented secret weapon.

Hot on the heels of the recent Normalizm EP and 4-tracker that topped vinyl charts for Kerri Chandlers Kaoz Theory, Art Department drops a 3 track vinyl-only offering for this year’s Record Store Day, simply titled ‘A Record For Records Sake’. The release kicks off with a warm, filtered and looped sample work out featuring disco guitar licks and a simple, infectious key melody executed in typically raw Art Department fashion. The song comes with a “Dolled Up Mix” which sees subtle changes in filter work and mixdown to extract  a different emotion from the record. The EP closes with a straight forward house offering in “d’igualada “, a stripped back and deep affair with muted jazz undertones and relentless rhythm section. A perfect vinyl contribution to celebrate Record Store Day from the veteran Art Department.
