Over a year ago, I posted a ~1 minute track called Big Ideas. Since then, I've found time here and there to go back and expand upon it, and now, I'm excited to finally present a finished version of the song!

This is something different for me - an electronic rock track with a dirty, in-your-face bass. Hope you enjoy!

Big Ideas

Here's an aggressive synth-driven track that makes me think of Jazz Jackrabbit, a PC game I used to play ALL the time, in part thanks to Alexander Brandon's amazing tracker score. I don't think it's the song as much as it is the lead synth sound that makes me think of JJ.

Funky electronic track. Part of this was used as an entry into a company's "audio identity" contest. I'll probably expand on it in the future and make it into a fuller song.

Big Ideas (WIP)

This is the first song I made playing around with Evolve Mutations 2 (a Kontakt library made by Native Instruments and meant for "cinematic sound design") back in August 2011. Everything you hear comes from Evolve. 

Mutations

This is a short jazzy/funky tune I composed for a contest; the requirements were that it be about a minute long and have a groovy bass line. For this piece, I made use of two Scarbee instruments: the Mark 1 keyboard, and the MM-Bass, both made by Native Instruments. 

This is my first time making a more "realistic"-sounding piece like this, so go easy on me. :p

Feelin' It

Electronic track with lots of synths. Could work as trailer music, or maybe even a hip hop beat (?). 

Originally composed back in February of 2011, revisited and finished up October 2012.
