House Bound - Episode 16

Samantha Loveridge is a woman of many talents with a deep passion for all things music. She has a tasteful sound that draws on deep, afro and melodic influences and has played at iconic venues such as Space Ibiza and Sankeys Manchester. Residing in Sydney, her productions earn her a regular place in the Beatport Charts and receive playtime from the likes of Black Coffee, Jimi Jules and Rüfüs Du Sol. Here she works with Black Hole Recordings associate Treetalk on a characterful new single. The superb 'Losing My Religion' is a deep and steamy house cut with well-defined drum grooves and melancholic pads that bring a new perspective to this classic song. The vocal is an iconic one that takes on a different feel as it unfolds over the rueful grooves. This marks a fine label debut for this collaborative pair.
