As a fresh faced newcomer to the dance scene in 2020, Mr Licka set about unleashing his unique brand of bush prog with juggernaut Melbourne label Universal Tribe Records. This collaboration sparked a symbiotic melding of thoughtful curation and a dual evolution aimed at delivering quality Australian psytrance.

Now in his 3rd year with the label, Mr Licka is once again greasing the cogs for yet another release with his EP ’Imaginarium’. A 4 track prog journey conjured from the cerebral landscape and ushered forth into 3D reality. All tracks have been meticulously crafted using the power of imagination and incubated in the digital nursery.

Mr Licka is sure to set the feet stomping and the mind racing with intangible delight as he guides u through the imaginarium and deep into the vortex of the psychedelic gift shop.

Brisbane grunge rock band RVLR are known for their hard-hitting rock tracks, massive guitars, trademark harmonies and explosive live show.

Their impressive list of support slots include; Karnivool, Shihad, Dead Letter Circus, The Living End, Royal Blood and more. The band also played main stage at Splendour in the Grass in 2010.

In late 2014, RVLR released “Paper Folding Man” from their self-titled EP through The A & R Department. The track was well-received nationally and remained in the Top Ten of the AMRAP charts for over three consecutive weeks also featuring on the A & R Department’s Marshmallow Pavement compilation album.

RVLR have been working on new material with plans to release their next single in the new year. The band are currently taking bookings 2017.

Open Records is a techno, house and electronica imprint based out of the sunny state of Queensland, Australia. Founded in the lush tropical paradise of Cairns in 2007 and now managed out of the bustling metropolis of Brisbane, Open has grown into a respected and prolific label with more than 70 releases from artists in all corners of the globe.

The Open sound is just that. Over the years we have released everything from deep, organic, progressive and tech house, to staunch minimal, hypnotic tribal, driving techno and abstract electronica. What has remained constant is our desire to represent the intelligent, groovy, dancefloor-oriented sound of the Australian festival and party culture, with a little help from our friends around the world, too.

Anderson Neumann is a Brazilian DJ, musician and producer based in Australia, who explores different genres ranging from organic down tempo to psy-trance.
