A "tune" that came into existence when Mick Rippon send me a sketch for a melody, on which I, Jeroen Tel, evolved on within Renoise (Renoise is a music tracker (the best in the world) for those who don't know). I send it to Zubareus, a brilliant guitarist from Russia to add a magic guitar solo. I mixed it all together and this track was born. So, again, I proudly present another co-op between friends. I wanted to give this song a fresh take, since the original arrangement had some dodgy samples, an awkward groove and a pretty shitty mix.

It's remake time, folks! Didn't manage to find the original release date for the song, but my best guess would be somewhere around 1996 or so, going by samples and technique. 

Usually, these remixes are a juicy stew of old and new -- I always start with bounced tracks from OpenMPT, and replace things like kicks and basses to clear up the mix. In this case, however, almost nothing survived since the mix was such a mess. The most rewarding part came when I finally nailed the drums (four layers of full kits!) and got to work on the brass. The song really came alive at that point, and the rest of the time was spent fiddling with the organ, which was the major copy-paste offender.

Oh, and the name differs slightly from the original, to avoid infringing on the trademark of a certain fast food chain.

Pizza Hat

This is a song I composed for my mother's birthday. It's called The Lake because there is a certain lake near the place where I grew up that means alot to my family and especially my mother. I would have preferred this to be made with proper strings but that wasn't an option. I hope you like it...

Seagull Sonata [Stickerbush Symphony]

A medley of some of my released songs. This track is a continuous work in progress, not likely to ever be finished.

The last part (07:30) is an adaptation of Fair Play to the Queen, and was added as a tribute to a dear friend (and a huge presence in the Swedish demoscene) who passed away in May 2015.

Rest in peace, Retro.
