Malgré la promiscuité, l'équipage semble avoir regagné foi en l'avenir de l'Héritage. 
L'offre d'une immense générosité de Gnéon Lénoard nous permet d'appréhender la suite des événements d'un nouvel œil, sorte de lueur d'espoir au milieu du néant. Les piles prototypes ont doublé notre vitesse de croisière, au grand soulagement d'Ito et de Francis, tous deux rassurés par ces conditions optimales de navigation. 
Le Cosmos semble être en nous tout comme nous sommes en lui.
