Inspiring the weird mechanic in 2013 and 2014. What made the machine dance!

This is a one take live performance of a new track made entirely with DaveSmithInstruments Tempest analog drum machine. Recorded with Cockos Reaper in one take. Only slight compression and EQ added with MOTU Ultralite mk3 as well as a little bit of reverb. No other treatment was made. Just RAW Tempest sound. 
Also all sounds designed from scratch.

Ne-Tek - Some Madness For Your Ears (work in progress)

For this track I wanted to try using the Korg Volca Keys as a sequencer for my Juno-106. “How is that possible?!?,” you might ask. Well I’ll tell you how. I have modded the Volca Keys to include a MIDI out port. Using this mod I sent the MIDI out from the Volca Keys to the Juno-106. Both synths played the same sequence, but because the Volca Keys is polyphonic the Juno-106 consistently played chords, while I switched modes on the Volca Keys between poly, unison, and fifths, etc. I fleshed out the piece by adding an arp provided by the Bass Station II and a bass line from the Tempest.

All sequences come from my eurorack modular system.
There are only 8 and 16 step analog sequencer used.
The computer is only used for audio recording on one stereo track.

A short extract from a generative modular-synth work using @Qubitelectronix's stunning Nebulae. The piece is based on one of the module's bundled samples run through an array of filters, Audio Damage Grainshifts and a Z-DSP plate reverb to create ever-changing clouds of sound. No external processing or sequencing. I might release unique captures of the full piece on cassette tape if there's enough interest. 

*I'm not particularly religious, but this description seemed somehow appropriate...

I patched this up with my baby daughter strapped to my breast, sleeping. When I recorded the Rhodes parts, she sat next to me and banged the keys. My wife supplied the the countermelody in the middle. Its a family song.
