I met Erik briefly in San Francisco after Burning Man in 2017. He invited me to come check out a 'little gathering' called Rabbits that he and his mates were putting on. I didn't know it at the time, but the little gathering he was referring to was not quite as little as I'd envisioned based on his casual description :D

I ultimately didn't get along to Rabbits for another 2 years, when Kat and I cruised up to Cherrabah Resort for the 2019 edition.

It blew my mind. The production was out of this world! The flow of the party felt sensational. And the community? I'd never seen doofland partying so hard while keeping so cool. I was hooked.

I've been coming back to Rabbits ever since, including sharing a renegade set in 2021.

To be invited to not only play officially, but to open the absolutely phenomenal Waabooz stage - words can't express how stoked I was for the opportunity. It was fucking awesome fun. 

I wasn't sure what to expect given the early time slot, with most punters still arriving and many setting up/chillin' given the big trek from camp to stage. Thank you so much to those who came out and threw down! It means so much to me.

I'd be remiss not to mention that I'm aware of the portions of community who are feeling impacted and hurt by examples of Rabbits' poor communication with several artists (including a couple of close friends). I myself wasn't sure whether I was still going to be able to play. My messages sent via email and socials seeking clarification of certain details received no response. The lack of response is one thing, but the curt and insensitive eventual responses that some friends received definitely added to the hurt.

I appreciate the organisers were under tremendous pressure for lots of reasons, but be that as it may I hope they're able to meet some of the community disappointment with humility and sensitivity, and an intention to improve upon communication moving forwards.

Honourable mentions to a couple of absolute legends; Ziggy, Zad, Maxi, Jemma, everyone involved in the production, stage and lighting (holy fuck it was absolutely next level!) and everyone I partied with throughout the party. Rabbits 2025 is definitely one for the history books.

Honored to be given the chance to take the dancefloor on a journey. We made the transition from vibing daytime house grooves, into night time phatties whilst performing inside a psychedelic crocodile!

The dry riverbed amongst the jungle made for the perfect setting to enjoy some jackin' tunes with beautiful people. What a gorgeous event, kissed by sun, swooned by butterflies and warm with vibrancy!
