Taken from Bjarki’s expansive archive of unreleased tracks, Kraviz has brought together four tracks of mangled percussion, soaring synths and intense melodies to make for an idiosyncratic release.

Premiere: Bjarki 'This 5321'

Bjarki leads a pack of international artists who in the past few years have taken a hauntological approach to re-moulding the scents of breakbeat, rave, jungle, trance and IDM into sounds that are entirely their own. Already this year he began his own label bbbbbb with artistic sparring partner Johnny Chrome Silver, released under new alias Cucumb45, performed his new live show at clubs and festivals from Mutek ES and Peacock to Printworks, and recently announced a US tour for July.

TRP015 finds Bjarki in typical, monstrous, floor slaying form with four trance leaning tracks that have proved an inspiration for Nina Kraviz’s DJ sets over the past year. Bjarki takes key aspects of trance and takes it for a headspin into the unknown - mangled percussion, disorienting voices, unravelling textural layers, sub aquatic bass frequencies and intense melodies. All make for a uniquely irreverent take on a much maligned genre that most of us secretly adore..

Originally released as a B-side in 2007 on Figure‘s then-sublabel Podium, Len Faki‘s ‚My Black Sheep‘ was one of those rare tracks that unpredictably take on a life of their own. A veritable underground hit, it not only came to define the sound of Len Faki at that time but for many became equally synonymous with the state of the scene in Berlin around that time. Now that ten years have passed since then, we felt it was about time to finally treat the sheep to a fresh shave.

Doom is a project born from the idea of John Torri in 2010 to explore the techno sounds more dark and experimental. Born from the need to express emotions and feelings hidden and repressed in his mind, that was not possible with other genres.
In the same year with the Friends Peder and Mas Teeveh creates the DRA project or Dark Room Alliance with which they create their first release, Nekrose on Gynoid Audio in 2010, supported by several national and international DJs.
In June of 2011 released their first solo EP with two original tracks and three great remix!
