Guitarist, DJ and producer Andreia Gomez aka Soul Scientist, captivates audiences with her unique blend of live electric guitar and full-on psytrance. Earth-rumbling beats, powerful guitar riffs, eastern inspired melodies and mesmerizing guitar solos are the hallmark of her music. Exceptional musical and technical ability, set her aside as one of the UK's most promising psytrance artists. Her rapid rise in the scene has seen her sharing stages with Ajja, Avalon, Talamasca, Mad Maxx and Burn In Noise, at Boomtown Festival, Tribal Gathering, Existance Festival, Altered States, Tribe of Frog and Illusiom.

Whether playing her own tracks or those from acclaimed artists, each piece bears her unique musical signature, achieved through the incorporation of live sound effects, samples, and instrumental layers. In 2024, her first official release, ‘String Synergy’, a collaboration with Xenoben from Phantasm Records, ranked #8 on Beatport’s psytrance chart and remains the label’s top selling track. She's now entirely focused on producing her own music, with each new song added to the live show being put to the test on the dancefloor as she builds toward releasing her debut EP.

Born in Portugal, she moved to England in her late teens to pursue her musical dreams. Founder of the prog rock/metal band MIND, her role as songwriter, lead guitarist, and producer was initially influenced by bands such as Tool, Dream Theater and Rage Against the Machine. The later discovery of bands like Ozric Tentacles and Shpongle marked a shift towards psychedelic music, eastern influenced guitar playing and the fusion of live and electronic music. The pivotal turning point happened when she fell in love with psytrance. She found her true calling in combining DJing and live performance, bringing together all her musical influences, her love for music technology and her life’s philosophy, into a stage act that truly reflects the essence of her being. 

Andreia sees music as a gateway to deeper states of consciousness.  Inspired by her own experiences, induced purely by dancing, she adopted the stage name Soul Scientist, an embodiment of her belief in music's capacity to alter brain chemistry so deeply as to unlock transcendental experiences.

Sempre gostei de música eletrônica , mas nenhum estilo de eletro me cativava ao ponto de me tonar um ouvinte apaixonado , mas com o tempo isso iria mudar .  Quando estava passando  por uma das fases mais turbulentas da minha vida , o destino colocou sua mãozinha no meio e me introduziu ao universo do psytrance  e partir dai amigos.... muitas coisas mudaram e para melhor!
o trance foi essencial para me ajudar a entrar em contato com o meu eu interior e a me equilibrar novamente , erguer a cabeça e seguir em frente em busca de novos objetivos e projetos e foi assim que o tay dai teve seu início.
Hoje sou residente da DELUX.E CLUB em Campinas - SP , onde eu frequentava e hoje tenho orgulho de dizer q divido o palco com grandes nomes da cena como MAJOR 7 , COSMONET ,SAJ MAHAN , AURA VORTEX , DAY DIN ,  SHANTI DEEDRAH , DAEMON RITUS e é claro meu grande mestre DJ TATTO SALLA.
Hoje acordo ouvindo trance e dou boa noite ouvindo tbm . Basicamente vivo e respiro trance . Sempre fui e uma pessoa fiel a meus pensamentos ,  a minha mente , sempre fiz oq deu na telha e sempre fui muito agitado também, e dessa combinação surge um artista  louco pra ver a pista pegar fogo , ver a galera pular , soltar os passinhos , e podem até me xingar na hora do drop , desde que durante esses momentos vocês esqueçam de tudo que  causa desconforto em tua vida , todos os seus dilemas , problemas e que estes sejam deixados de lado e que você se entregue inteiramente ao som á sua volta ... é essa energia q procuro passar através do projeto tay dai , a energia que me ajudou e que ainda vai ajudar muitos fritos por ai haha.  
Trance não é somente uma vertente da música eletrônica , é uma cultura , um estilo de vida.
