It's scary the amount of good tunes out there, which is why for the most part I prefer mixing them inna dj style. 
But every now and then you've gotta add your own bit of flavour to the mix. When not slicing up old house records I'm usually working on a monthly podcast over at Tenement Sound featuring mixes from myself as well as guest sets from all manner of interesting djs and producers...Check it.

Electronic music producer from Melbourne, Australia.
Having featured on releases from Ministry of Sound, Defected Records, Hed Kandi, Vicious Vinyl and Lovenest Records, Gene has also had a number of remixes including “Pressure” (John Jacobsen) and “Back Again” (MPG vs Akami) played on rotation at Pacha in Ibiza, and has also licensed music to Red Bull Media House, Adidas and Mercedes-Benz.
2018 offers a new set of challenges and opportunities for Gene transitioning away from deep and soulful house releases to chill-out and downtempo.
Formally an internationally credited session saxophonist and guitarist, Gene also holds a PhD in Electronic Music Production and lectures on the Music Industry Program at RMIT University, Melbourne.
