Debuting on Eastern Nurseries with “R U OK?”, @innerinnerlife's genre-defying work transports us to an ethereal universe at the gates between reality and fantasy. Pirouetting seamlessly through digital and analogue spaces, it cultivates an essential aural aesthetic that balances rose-tinted optimism and the clarity that comes with embracing imperfection.

“R U OK?” leads us through sky blue vistas to peachy moments of tenderness, as heartfelt pictures of intimacy span across its five compositions. Reflecting on the folly of misspent life and the digital universe’s ever-expanding presence within our physical domains, Tomasz Szpaderski's music taps brilliantly into the collective consciousness to deliver a serene and bravely optimistic depiction of our timeline.

An entrancing combination of luscious ambient pads, trance piano melodies and avant-pop structures, “R U OK?” evokes a VR-like fantasy of a soon to be lost world, scattered tokens of beauty and heartbreak in the present day, culminating as a kaleidoscopic snapshot of 21st-century existence.

Bernardo Barrera, one half of Los Fugazzi, but best known as Mufti, delivers two tracks full to the brim with guitar licks, analogue squelches, dark corners, creative juice and a generous dose of serotonin. The title track, 'Mess My Mind' is a dark foray into sound with a frankly unhinged vocal, which evokes sleaze, sex, narcosis and madness, while 'Rutina', although keeping the pace, uses overdriven distorted guitars and sinister synth sounds to create a mood all of its own. Propping up the originals with their own unique takes are Niv Ast and Middle Sky Boom, who will be joining the label for the first time. 
Niv Ast ramps up the kick drum and brings out the animal noises for 'Rutina' in a hypnotic reworking, while taking a vocal snippet from the original and turning it into a chant, giving the mix a slightly heavier punch to the brooding original mix.
