After experiencing the first glances of spring we jump back on the wave with a very special delivery by Ju Dallas. 
Known to a wider audience as a DJ, her vast collection contains gems from IDM and Breakbeat as well as countless crossover works that aren’t easily categorized.
Her ‘don’t-stick-to-genres’ approach aims at building an emotional conveyance for the rather unconventional dance-expirience, challenging with complex rhythms and fractional beat patterns.
Her activities in the young label Anaram-Records are further supporting this approach as she is providing a stage for others to develop their very own artistic identities. 
After a longer break from it, she now adds another artistic and very personal layer to her work: Her voice. 

In this mix, she is taking us through an assemblage of different worlds, transmitting a sensation of being in the middle of a fairy-tale. Her reflections about personal and interpersonal growth find a soft carrierbag in the music she selected, her voice appears like an astral force, sometimes soft like a sunray, sometimes distorted like a scream in the wind.

Lay back and enjoy what feels like a rollercoasterride without g-forces or laying in a bed as vast as an ocean; unfamiliar but yet imaginable.

Let me take you on a journey through some of my fav tunes atm ranging from hiphop/r&b to genre-crossover electronics. 
Familiar gen-z gems are in there for u alongside some statements &questions close to my heart, incorporated in musical feels that speak for themselves.
playing a set in this listening-dancemusic overlap context at FOG, Basel after so many amazing experimental live sets was a great plesure.
I feel that this is one of my most coherent, still very diverse recorded sets ever, why i’m even more excited to share this with some beautiful pictures as an attempt to capture the energy of the mix, by the very talented Martin Luijten.

ANARAM RECORDS

Ju Dallas is a young, queer Artist from Zurich, known for her genre-bending and storytelling DJ sets. 
Behind the desks, she not only serves eclectic rollercoaster rides but understands to tell a coherent story throughout her sets. 

Next to DJing at top events like opening for Skee Mask at Lethargy Festival 2021 and representing club Zukunft as a resident at the Clubbing Stage of Streetparade 2023, her involvement in dance music 
and nightlife reach far beyond that.
Her home in Zurichs underground has shaped Ju Dallas notably as a selector.
She’s been contributing to the local nightlife with DJing and hosting events since 2019.
As a member of Anaram Records, she further provides a platform for other artists. 

Being surrounded by music culture, as well as a huge variety of (electronic) music, all her life, has impacted Ju Dallas immensely. 
As a singer and writer she is influenced by soul, r&b and jazz as well as some more experimental icons like björk.
She is exploring with making her own music, working with other artists and integrating her passion for singing with DJing in hybrid-formats, challenging herself to solidify her output even more.
