This is a soundtrack from a collection I've written depicting key characters and landscapes from Michael Moorcock's amazing 'Hawkmoon: The History of the Runestaff' book series.

We are on horseback and the soundtrack starts outside the safety of The Kamarg in the ruined land of Gran Bretan but slowly we arrive and get a feel for this beautiful landscape and the people who live there.

The Kamarg is an open vista with huge bulls, white horses, giant flamingos flying freely and a marshland full of shy water creatures. Count Brass protects and supports The Kamarg from Castle Brass, which overlooks the land from on high.

Gran Bretan is an alternative Great Britain whose Lord General, Baron Meliadus, is bent on killing Hawkmoon and taking The Kamarg (the only oasis of hope remaining on the planet). This track is based on Gran Bretan's capital 'Londra' and its wild, sky-piercing architecture of spires and towers and its dark underworld teeming with the warped lives and wild dreams of its citizens.

Count Brass is our ancient god-like warrior, as old as the Kamarg that is his purview; and also the last bastion of hope in the face of Gran Bretan's scourge that has encompassed the rest of the planet. Yisselda's father, he is demon-like in battle, a warrior seemingly forged from brass.

We follow him on horseback as he surveys The Kamarg, the sacred land that he is sworn to protect from the ravages of Gran Bretan who are dealing death and carnage on his doorstep...

Hey there, I'm Chris Rodbourne (DreamDeepCR) and I've been writing 'Electronic Music' for the creative rush of it for a very long time now... I started writing music when I was 15 with my first hardware synth (Yamaha CS-10) and a couple of tape decks. I went from there through lots of analogue gear (much of which I still have fortunately) but now most of what I do is in Logic Pro with software synths, Eurorack gear, a trusty SH-101 and loads of FX.

Most of my tracks are in the ambient/DnB/chill/Lofi/soundtrack styles but I'm into creating all sorts of electronic music, as long as it generates an atmosphere and hopefully inspires.
