With humble beginnings in Diplo’s Philadelphia studio, Mad Decent’s unwavering mission is to highlight underground, genre-blurring sounds. Mad Decent tops iTunes, Beatport and Shazam charts worldwide with #1 Dance tracks and albums with releases from artists like Major Lazer, Dillon Francis, Grandtheft, Party Favor, NGHTMRE and Yellow Claw. I'm a closet, car, bed, and shower singer.
I don't keep a diary, but instead ramble my feelings out loud. Vibrations from my soul. I can't write what I say first. It simply flows. Mixed feelings & conflicting thoughts work their way from my subconscious to my lips without much choice. Only intuition. 
I'm not sure how my voice was born. Maybe a past life. You can say I sound like so-and-so or must have be influenced by this or that. I really can't say. Just sing.
Don't take me seriously.
Most melodies here are iphone voice memos taken as I drive, shower, or lay in bed. Almost like diary entries, but without the censorship that comes with writing out feelings. Some are recorded on my lap top while I draw or work. Always original rambles&lyrics.
I'm a visual artist, but I actually appreciate the art of music more. I'm jealous of the way a song can instantly and completely captivate an audience in the way visual art could never. The affect is so much more immediate. The way a song can change your mood, a lyric can take you back in time, or a beat can make your body shake. The way musicians collaborate, jump around, orchestrate together. It amazes me.
I'd love to meet more musicians, collaborate, and learn.
