Solo project by singer/songwriter Ian Margolycz

Lost in Stereo was a band from 2008 to 2010 from the North Shore of Massachusetts (Essex County to be more specific). The band recorded several demos, live recordings and two studio albums. The second album, Black Tie Galaxie was to be their first full-length but was shelved when the band broke up in early 2010. The sessions were held in Worcester, MA and engineered by Pete deGraaf. Some copies of the rough (and yet to be finished) mixes were released, but the album still remains incomplete. Members of the band went on to form Strange Hero and The Velvet Ants.

Formed in the late 1990's in Centreville, VA by classmates Ian Margolycz, Tim Peugh, Ryan Bennett, Brandon Hillary and Mike Grasso. The band played post-grunge alternative rock and released all sorts of demos and eps on cds and tape. Playing gigs locally until 2002, with a one off show at Temple University in Philadelphia, the band would break up after only a couple of years together. Green Canteen would split off into Baba G'nush and Malfunction of the Head.

Other band names included: Blis, Apples and Oranges and Bourgeois Kitten.
