In Tagen der musikalischen Tristesse, der weichgespülten Amoll-Gdur-emoll Abspulerei und der wechselseitigen Onanie aller Musiktruppen (ausser uns!!) mit Hoffnung auf Gegenliebe und eindringlich geflüsterte Existenzberechtigungsversicherungen KONNTEN WIR NICHT ANDERS!

Aus purer Verzweiflung heraus, aus der schreienden Leere und der eklig suppenden, nicht heilen wollenden Wunde, die da ist das Warten auf den ein oder auch vielleicht den Anderen neuartigen, wohltuenden Hörschmaus, erschufen sechs (SEX!!) Recken (RECKEN!!) resigniert und voller Empörung darüber, nun wohl doch wieder alles selber machen zu müssen, ein hungriges Biest.

Ein Feuertier aus aberwitzigem Riffing und dreckigen Bass-Licks, eine Sagengestalt aus berstenden Trommeldonnern und Becken-Blitzen (Hey Girls!!!), ein Albdruckwesen aus markerschütternden Kehlenrufen, immerhin mit Herz aus Gold und paroxysmalen Prisen von Genie an Melodie, nichtsdestotrotz böswillig und kampfbereit.

Eine Frage drängt sich auf: Warum hat das vor uns keiner so gemacht?

Diego Eva, also known as EVVA, has been one of the leading figures of Brazil’s underground queer electronic scene since 2012, when he began gaining national visibility by producing parties and creative opportunities for the LGBTQIA+ community in clubs and public spaces across Fortaleza. His musical research focuses on house, electro, bass, club, and techno, infused with strong influences from electropop, indie dance and latin tribal sounds. With his infectious energy, he transforms each performance into a unique experience, wrapping the dance floor in an atmosphere of freedom and self-expression.

Throughout his artistic journey, EVVA has performed at some of the most important parties and clubs in Latin America, including Masterplano (BR), Missa (ARG), Matrixxx Club (CL), Trolxs (UY), Jerome Club (BR), Horny (BR), and ATRITA (BR). He has also appeared on influential music platforms such as Kiosk Radio, Hong Kong Community Radio, Moskalus, Rádio Quântica, and Veneno, sharing stages with global queer icons like Pabllo Vittar, Adore Delano, and Kazaky. Beyond the dance floors, he is a resident artist on platforms like Function.fm and Internet Public Radio, where he continues to amplify the voices and sounds of Latin underground artists to the world.
