So Real

This was never officially released and I've been too shy for many years to play it for people, but- here it is in all its angry egocentric glory.  Recorded and co-mixed by the very vibey and brilliant Brian Scheuble, I made this low budget record in 3 weeks on analog tape at the now defunct Rumbo Recorders in Canoga Park, California.  I thought I knew what I was doing, but looking back I really didn't... many of these songs should have been better songs but I was too excited to be in the studio with a small record deal and these were the only songs I had.  This is painful to share it with the interwebs, but here I go!  There's definitely a few moments that make me smile.  I'm playing all the instruments except Greg Leisz plays some great slide guitar, Lou Molino III plays some crazy drums on "Deflator Mouse", and the amazing k.d. lang sings very undermixed backing vocals on "Lay Of The Land".
