dreDDup are an Serbian industrial rock band from Novi Sad. Recognized as one of the pioneers of this genre in their country, since its inception in 1997, they have been striving to create a unique musical world in which rock, big beat, industrial, punk and loud electronics are equally present and blend in closely with a disturbed visual world. They call it ‘massacre industrial’ or ‘demonic electronic’. So far, they have released eight albums and numerous mini, maxi releases. They've appeared in several international compilations, have successfully co-recorded with other bands and have already produced music for theatrical performances, documentary films and experimental art installations. dreDDup had many European tours and opened for bands like: The Prodigy, Marilyn Manson, Skrillex, Deathstars, Soulfly, Laibach, DAF, Toy Dolls… Band performed at these notable festivals: Exit Music Festival, Prodigy’s Warrior’s Dance Festival, Kunigunda festival (SLO), String festival (PL), Fekete Zaj (HU), Kaleidoskop (BiH), Samhain, STG Festival (SLO), Refuse & Resist, In Metal We Trust, ElectroDark Party LXXII SW (SW), HGF (CRO), Gothic Festival Sofia (BL), Gothic Festival Serbia…… dreDDup is known for their vibrant parties and is considered by many fans to be one of the best concert bands in Serbia. Their performances are characterized as energetic, sometimes dangerous and always filled with theatre-like presentations followed by high-class multimedia. dreDDup are currently recording their new album.
