May the intensity of these waters soften the fire of fear, doubt, and irrevocable transformation.
May it clear space for Knowing, deep as the minerals nourished by these waters.

THE THRESHOLD | live guided movement meditation

.:. Let’s suppose that you were able every night to dream any dream you wanted to dream, and that you could, for example, have the power within one night to dream 75 years of time, or any length of time you wanted to have.

And you would, naturally, as you began on this adventure of dreams, you would fulfill all your wishes. You would have every kind of pleasure you could conceive. And after several nights of 75 years of total pleasure each you would say “Well that was pretty great. But now let’s have a surprise, let’s have a dream which isn’t under control, where something is gonna happen to me that I don’t know what it's gonna be."

And you would dig that and would come out of that and you would say “Wow that was a close shave, wasn’t it?”. Then you would get more and more adventurous and you would make further- and further-out gambles what you would dream. And finally, you would dream where you are now. You would dream the dream of living the life that you are actually living today.

That would be within the infinite multiplicity of choices you would have. Of playing that you weren't God, because the whole nature of the godhead, according to this idea, is to play that he is not. So in this idea then, everybody is fundamentally the ultimate reality, not God in a politically kingly sense, but god in the sense of being the self, the deep-down basic whatever there is. And you are all that, only you are pretending you are not. .:.

Charlie Rose: They waited for justice.

Toni: They waited.

How long was that - 9 months, a year?
They WAITED for justice for almost a year. And it didn't come.

How do you feel?

Charlie: Why has racism been so dominant in our life? What is it about it —

Toni: It's about feeling good.

Charlie: You need to feel better; that you are better than someone —

Toni: Some people do.

If you can only be tall because somebody is on their knees, then you have a serious problem. But don't you understand that the people who do this thing - who practice racism - are bereft. There is something distorted about the psyche. It's a huge waste, and it's a corruption, and a distortion. It's like it's a profound neurosis that nobody examines for what it is. It feels crazy. It IS crazy.

How do you feel?

But when you take it away - if I take your racism away from you - there you are all strung out, and all you've got is your little self. And what is That? What Are You Without Racism? Are you any good? Are you still strong? You still smart? You still like yourself?

How do you feel?

Charlie: And the advice is to come to grips with your own fears.

Toni: Of course. Your own fears. Your own history. And what do you need? What do you need this for?

For the first time, we are all collectively understanding that environmental justice is racial justice is human justice ♻️

🔹 I had the deep honor of creating an official remix of @altingunband  rendition of the old turkish folk song #KESIKÇAYIR for the Experiential Atelier's collaboration with @unesco @ioc_unesco World Ocean's Day & this incoming decade of Ocean Literacy 🌊

Through an introspective multicultural soundscape, we remember how totally interrelated with all life we are. We remember that we are not just a drop in the ocean, We Are The Entire Ocean, too 💧

We are reminded that, like water, we contain memory + the potential for power, healing, cleansing, and transformation. What waves will we make?
