Dreion is an electrifying singer-songwriter, musician, producer, and performing artist from Omaha, Nebraska. He considers himself to be a soul therapist and is an advocate for foster care reform. As a survivor of the foster care system, he uses his music to heal, inspire, shed light, and resonate with the deepest parts of the soul through his message of hope. He currently partners with national foster care organizations such as First Star Academy and Mixed Roots Foundation as an ambassador and honorary board member to highlight the needs of foster youth. In 2020, original music from Dreion’s debut EP “I AM LIFE '' was featured in the film “Foster Boy '' produced by Shaquille O’Neal to shed light on the struggles and challenges foster youth face every day. His music can be best described as a combination of Inspirational, Gospel, Soul, Funk, and R&B, taking inspiration from Prince, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Michael Jackson, and many more. In 2019, he was awarded “Performer of The Year” by the Berklee Urban Service Awards and he is a season 19 American Idol golden ticket recipient. Dreion has had the privilege of performing at many prestigious venues and events including the College World Series, Gillette Stadium, Big Night Live, and the legendary Grand Ole Opry.
