Marking the 25th podcast of the TNDB-serie is Frenchman François X. Equipped with one of the sickest grooves and skills in the scene, Francois is one the best artists hailing from the very talented French sector.

His own imprint, DEMENT3D, has been tipped as a core catalyst for the French Renaissance in electronic music. With releases from many French techno greats like Antigone, Polar Inertia, In Aeternam Vale and Voiski. The way François carefully curates the selection in releases is an example of his great knowledge and feel for high quality techno. Extending his craftmanship into a new platform under the DEMENT3D head with his XX LAB, which released its first EP from François "Murky Dreams".

As a DJ and producer, François has been excelling even more. With highly noted releases on his own label with the most notable debut-LP in 2018 on DEMENT3D, François showcases his talent and capabilities as a producer. This talent and capabilities transcend into his DJ-sets. Highly energetic and highly passionate, François' DJ-sets have brought him all over the world to all the big and important stages.

Born on the outskirts of Toronto, @farhan_music found his way into the rave scene at the tender young age of 19. He quickly developed a niche for himself as a raver, a DJ, and a co-founder of the "Untitled" DIY event series. He gathers his inspiration through shared moments on the dance floor - as this is the place that unites us all.

This inspiration can be found in his DJ sets, as he likes to take dancers on journey through the various scopes of electronic music. Though the focus is on techno, you wont be surprised to hear tinges of ambient, industrial, electro, ghetto, EBM, and everything in between.

In addition to his DJ'ing endeavours, Farhan has been apart of the local Toronto techno scene working with, and organizing a well known series of events called "Untitled". His involvement with Untitled has allowed him to push the sound of techno throughout the city, striving to create spaces for like-minded techno lovers, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and its allies all under one roof.

Now living in Berlin, Farhan is continuing his journey as a DJ and representative in the industry. Currently he is working with Quest Agency as a booking agent, and has played DJ sets at: Griessmuhle, STAUB (://About Blank), Kantine Am Berghain, and Club Church (Amsterdam - LockeRRoom sex party).

"I wanted to present a mix that contained harder techno while still maintaining the essence of groove and melody. As such, the mix starts off at 140bpm with dubby, minimal, and driving techno. After the halfway mark I decided to dive deeper into heavier industrial sounds with a focus on artists from Toronto, NYC, and some unreleased tracks/new tracks from my friends. The mix was recorded in one take on 2 CDJs. Hope you guys enjoy!"

Beste Hira started her music career at a young age. While completing her high school and university education in classical cello and classical piano branches in the music department, she improved herself in production and DJing at inIstanbul studios in 2015. 
After completing her undergraduate education, she became one of the representatives of her country's underground music by sharing the stage with local and foreign names on the techno stage. The now Amsterdam based DJ, moved to The Netherlands in 2019 where she performed in various cities as well as performing in Vienna. With her music and podcasts she continues to rise as a DJ and producer in her career, with listeners from all over the world.
