Nostalgia with a twist - Casual Connection brings a freshness to the Disco, Funk & RnB gems that he so expertly curates. Sampling, editing and re-working classic tracks, his productions are respectful of their origination while bringing something modern and inventive to create a genuine and unique signature sound. 

Casual Connection's, aka Lukasz Ru-Kasu absorbed music from an early age as if by osmosis. From age 8 he grew a passion for music and now has been actively DJing since 2002 and producing since 2014.

Since he started producing back in 2014, Casual Connection has been named in Traxsource's Top 100 Nu Disco artists for 7 consecutive years. He has also been featured in DJ Mag, DJ City, Warner Music's Cool Accidents and gotten over 65 #1's on Hyppedit.

As a DJ, Casual Connection has built a strong following in his hometown, Perth, as well as playing gigs in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Queensland, New Zealand, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia (Bali) & Splendour In The Grass, Club MTV, RnB Friday's, Listen Out Festival, Spiltmilk Festival, Groovin The Moo Festival, VIVID Festival.

From New Zealand but soaking up the shores of Australia’s classy party capital Sydney, the career of DJ Cadell unites a phenomenal magic between the music and the drive for a good tune. Thriving on a desire to share nu-disco to the house heroes, progressive to tech, he brings a buzz unique to every set delivered across Australia, Asia Miami, Mykonos and Balearic haven Ibiza.

For ARIA chart DJ Cadell, the inspiration came with the rise of Erick Morillo who took the house music scene over more than a decade ago. Firing off a winning vocal anthem with the deep and sultry shades of a tech-tainted tune, Cadell ignites a club every time he jumps on. Well respected across the Sydney electronic map, he has held the key to shows across the town supporting Laidback Luke, Calvin Harris, Thomas Gold, Roger Sanchez and Erick Morillo himself. From Marquee to The Argyle, Greenwood and Trademark, its no wonder Sydney music enthusiasts don’t resist a play on the dance floor with Cadell in charge.
