Born Junior Vargas, the upcoming Rhode Island artist  , Focus , was raised in the streets of Providence, RI. He grew a love for Hip Hop quickly. Not only did his parents listen to a variety of music, but the neighborhood also influenced his desire to learn more about the sounds behind music and how they were created. He did not get into writing itself however, until moving to Hollywood, Florida in the year 2000. Beating on the trash cans and creating a cypher became a daily routine outside of lunch in Boyd Anderson H.S. He soon started producing his own music in Florida. Then eventually moved back to his hometown Providence, RI. A Mount Pleasant graduate and also attended the University of RI & Community College of RI, Focus has previously never officially released any work into the community or social media. He is known for his punch lines and sleek metaphors. Those who have known him since , as they say, "day one" will tell you he is underrated. His recently followers will tell you to be on the look out for this upcoming artist.
