super happy with how this mix turned out because these are all songs that i listen to on the daily, so i feel like this mix represents me and my true music taste very well :)

boba and chill? (RnB & Melodic EDM Summer Mix)

Excited to share with you the start of my Moonlight Radio Mix Series where I try to highlight some of my favorite artists! 

To start the series, I wanted to do something a little bit different regarding sound in my mixes. You may know me from my hard-hitting bass mixes, sprinkled with melodic bass, psytrance, and other genres!

This genre is something I really enjoy outside of making melodic dubstep/dubstep/psytrance, and wanted to try to create a mix around melodic house/deep house. It started off as  a mix for my girlfriend to listen to since this is the stuff we like to enjoy together on our days together. Inside this mix, you may hear a few of my remixes that I've done to fit within this mix!

let me be pretentious for a lil bit, I felt like I've been frustrated a lot recently because I can't slow down, I won't let myself take a break. I thought of this idea as a way to slow down and calm myself. there's something about slowing down music that makes it feel so sedative and calming. I think about time a lot and it's interesting to think that music is like a 3 min snapshot of feelings and emotion but you can twist and bend it and speed it up and slow it down and it can completely change the way those emotions feel. anyways the idea behind this mix is that sometimes things just sound better slow, and I wanted to represent that in a mix that's like a weird VHS tape playing in an empty dreamy space where the music just washes over you and then fades off in the vast emptiness you're in. maybe it'll be exactly what you needed or maybe it'll sound like a hellish eternity idk, but thanks for listening and coming to my ted talk <3
