This was a solo I transcribed earlier this year. I've always wanted to hear a piccolo led flute soli, so I decided to harmonize Dan's solo and overdub myself. All the parts were done in 2 takes or less.

A recent arrangement I did for Manhattan Transfer vocalist and co-founder Erin Dickins!  This features the DFW Fellowship, my big band of the usual suspects, and features Mrs. Emily Cranford on the vocals.

My un-sentimental arrangement of Duke Ellington's beautiful tune, "In a Sentimental Mood." This recording was made by the University of Northern Colorado's Lab Band I.

Dirty Loops started out by making cover videos of top 40 hits like Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" and Justin Bieber's "Baby." Fast forward a few years. They've now released their own album, Loopified, with David Foster and Verve Records, and they just got back from touring with Maroon 5.

While writing their new record in Sweden, the Dirty Loops guys took some time to chat with us about how the band came together and how they think about creating music.
