Isaiah James Barron, known by his rap name DrFluent, was born and raised in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Canada. Now 18, he pours his pain, strength, and truth into every beat and bar. Music isn’t just an art for him—it’s therapy, survival, and expression all in one.

Growing up wasn’t easy. Isaiah faced a rough life surrounded by the struggles of drug use, which deeply affected him and his siblings. Through all the chaos, the one constant in his life was his Nan, who raised him with love, discipline, and strength. She wasn’t just a grandmother—she was his mother figure, his rock. Losing her to cancer at just 17 shattered Isaiah's world. She was the one who taught him resilience, and her voice still echoes through his lyrics.

As if that heartbreak wasn’t enough, just a year later, Isaiah lost his Pop, the man who stepped in as a father figure. His Pop’s passing marked another painful chapter in an already heavy story. But even with the weight of grief, Isaiah kept pushing.

Life has thrown Isaiah its share of ups and downs—but he refuses to let the pain define him. Instead, he turns his story into sound, giving his fans something real to hold onto. Every track is a reflection of the streets he walked, the tears he’s cried, and the love he still carries for those he’s lost.
