The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Ever since this song came out, I've loved it.  I always knew there was something "funky" in it but could never pinpoint exactly what.  And then Harmonix released it as downloadable content in Rock Band, and I was able to get the isolated multi-track audio that has each instrument separately.

The process was simple: remove the vocals and then fiddle with the levels until it sounded even better.  This boosts the "alternate instruments" tracks during the choruses, which contains that electric-bass sound you hear.  Compared to the normal mix of the song I think this one sounds pretty cool.

I'd love to share the version with vocals, as well, but unfortunately SoundCloud is stopping me.
