Beyond exploring the far reaches of Detroit electro and techno, as well as showcasing the very best talent from the UK and Europe at his events, the Alien Communications label has become a creative home for the studio output of an exciting clutch of artists. From homegrown heroes such as Domenic Cappello, Ste Roberts, Polytunnel, Adam Curtain and Hardacre, to the expansive “Astral Projections” VA release, AC has made a clear statement of intent.

With Alien Communications’ star rising exponentially, we’ve been eagerly anticipating the UK artist’s turn on our InSessions mix series - and he hasn’t disappointed. Welding bomb-proof beats, outrageous acid lines, and fathoms-deep basslines to robotic aesthetics, this mix simultaneously looks back in time while fast-forwarding far into the future. Founder of Club Blanco, a party, label and platform that’s brought some of the most adventurous selectors to the UK – Chez has spent years carving out his own distinct voice as a DJ and producer. Between his Magic Carpet Ride show on Noods Radio, releases on Emotional Espacio and Futureboogie, and standout sets at Fabric, Fold and Barbarella’s, he’s become known for weaving eclectic, psychedelic-tinged journeys through hypnotic grooves, cosmic rhythms and leftfield textures.

Like seasons, we evolve, and this has never felt more true for us - musically, personally, professionally. We embrace it all; the light and the shadow. 

This will mark the start of a new series reflecting transformation through the union of seasons and sound. It is music that embodies the spirit of each season we move through, alongside the range of sounds that continue to define our path.

This first mix is built around Autumn, a season that carries us through to darker and cosier hours.

The Hours Between

"Peace on Earth was born from the need to turn music into a space for unity, awareness, and a collective call for peace. In a world marked by injustice and violence, we believe that art, music, and collaboration can create moments of silence, reflection, and hope.

This compilation is a tribute to the children who have lost —and continue to lose— their lives to war, hunger, poverty, and inequality. It is also a gesture of gratitude: while some of us are able to live our childhood dreams, millions of children will never have that chance.

The project began with an original track by Bodaishin & Lupe Republic, composed more than two years ago. Eight artists from different corners of the world offered to reinterpret it, working with the same stems but translating them into unique emotions, processes, and perspectives. The result: 10 diverse interpretations, united by one message.

With the support of Proton Distribution, 100% of the profits from this compilation will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, directly contributing to their humanitarian work in the most affected areas." - Circle Of Life
