Founded on Jan. 2014 by Richard Nguyen (DJ Simplex), the DVC at UCR served as a means to create UCR's first network of student deejays. Today, the club continues to act as a network, while additionally providing new and aspiring deejays and producers the lessons and experience required to become a great performer.

In the past, DVC deejays have played at UCR's annual Block Party, Heat Music Festival and Spring Splash concerts for over 1000 people. Our alumni & current deejays have gone on to deejay at Coachella, Brownies & Lemonade,Yost Theatre, Sutra OC, Sevilla Nightclub of Riverside and much more.
