Hungry hits the ground running and kick starts 2016 with an excellent two-tracker by N’to.

For the release’s title track “Note Blanche” N’to further explores his shimmering, melodic & adventures deep house affection. Precise rhythms lead the way through a mystic moonlight atmosphere, while his trademark percussion sounds complement the synth and pad layers in perfect style.  

The playful “Meanwhile in Rio” tune takes a slightly different route. The groove has a distinctive shuffle and the timbres are vivid, offsetting extremely-smooth sub frequencies. The organic wooden sounds N’to created run along nicely with the classic organ melody.

A team up of titans here with Eco & Driftmoon each bringing their specific skills to the production table. Trust is one of the fan favorites from Eco’s critically acclaimed album Wolves. The Original version has only previously been available in album or edit format, so it’s a pleasure on unveil this record in all its unedited majesty. The marriage of Eco’s edgy and rugged production with Driftmoon’s orchestral abilities really is something very special. Driftmoon’s Rework takes the track in a more club orientated direction; arpeggiated bass, gated claps and stabbed synths set things up perfectly for the peak time trance floors and the addition of a gritty lead synth post-break lifts this up beautifully.

Something very different here from what you’d expect from Driftmoon, so the title is rather apt. Time for Change rolls along at a relaxed pace, Juraj’s trademark pristine production is firmly in place but the vibes are more atmospheric and subdued; of course it’s all very timeless and melodic, crystalline synths and warm, analogue tones come and go and it’s all led by a majestic, resounding lead synth line. Gorgeous stuff from Prague’s finest.
