In honor of hip-hop’s 50th birthday, I put together a mix of some of my favorite producers and instrumentals. These beats shaped the soundtracks to our lives — from golden era classics to soulful flips and underground gems. This time, K dot gets a classic city pop rework on the A-side at 119 bpm, adeptly titled “Vinyl Love”, meanwhile the B-side uses a familiar vibraphone jazz sample for an appropriately titled “B*tch Dont Kill my Vibes”.
