Dear Friends, we are thrilled to present a most special edition... Marlon Looney and his masterpiece! 
One day, by the time we released Endless, we got this message from Marlon, it was morning and he was at the beach with some friends hearing that track, after one of those long nights... That was the first time we received such a kind message, and that was so meaningful to us! It was the time we realised that the dream was happening and, for our lives, people would be touched by our arts and getting connected with us in special ways. 

Beyond that, Marlon is an amazingly gifted DJ, a very favourite of ours, so regarding the set, all we can say is... WOW! This is a true masterpiece, one of those "old downtempo sets", organic, full, eclectic, and the mixing and flow are just breathtaking. It is difficult describe what we find to be one of the most surprising sets we've heard this year!

Sit back and enjoy this epic tale, one that only an artistic and downtempo soul would produce :)

Our last collected cast for this year comes with a bunch of deep and melodic down tempo sounds. Nico is an absolute expert in creating powerfull DJ sets. Through his work with his own label @katahaifisch, he has a big pool of inspiring artists and tracks wich he always use thoughtful and careful. 

We´re very happy to welcome Nico in our little podcast family.

"Two years ago, Iris & true nature began their DJ journey, and were brought together by their love for downtempo at the club Beate Uwe.

A special bond was created between them, and now they came together behind the decks to share music that is a reflection of duality and their inner world, merging darkness and light.

In a world that is currently in chaos and separation, this b2b embraces both the polarities and letting go of resistance against the one or the other.

Thank you to the producers & dancers who shaped this journey.

True Ƞɑʈure b2b Iris Anahata @ Beate Uwe [Berlin] [Journey Series]

For the fourth time in two years time, Hekske (the little witch) and Falke (the 10-year old witch apprentice) flew eastwards, all the way to the mighty Dnipro river. It was early April and the temperatures were very mild and pleasant. Then they saw their friend Mriya (Мрія) waving at them in the middle of a flowery meadow. Mriya was 14 years old now, and she had grown a lot since their last visit. To Hekske and Falke’s surprise, Mriya greeted them with 3 kisses on the cheek, and wished them a happy Easter. She proudly showed them her easter basket, which was made from willow branches and covered with a white towel, which was beautifully embroidered in yellow and blue patterns. Mriya explained that this towel was made by her great-grandmother over 100 years ago. She explained that she was expecting visitors from all over Ukraine. Soon afterwards, another witch arrived and they all welcomed her with 3 kisses on her cheek. Her name was Vesna and she came from the woods around Mount Hoverla in the west. She had brought some small bottles with colorful dyes : violet from the bark of an elderberry bush, yellow from the flowers of the woadwaxen, gold from onion skins, etc..
Soon afterwards, another witch arrived from the east. She had flown all the way from the scenic valley of the Oskil river.  A little later, another witch flew in from the north but after that it was a long wait for the witch of the South. Finally, a young witch flew by and gently landed on the fairy meadow. She had come all the way from the Valley of Ghosts. And she was not alone as she was accompanied by a sweet-looking animal. The witches were elated when they realized this was the raccoon which was stolen from this area some 1,5 years ago. The lively animal was very happy to be back home again, and soon the raccoon was frolicking with all the witches, and rolling over from joy.
Now that all witches had arrived, Mriya put some eggs on the table while Vesna opened the bottles with the colorful dyes. The local witches knew exactly what to do, applying hot wax on the eggs before scrathing and dying them in elaborate colorful patterns. Many of these patterns had been passed on from witch to witch for centuries. These decorated eggs were called ‘pysanky’.
Vidma, the witch from the northern plains had another method to decorate the eggs, which she did by coating eggs with bee wax and covering them with beads in vivid colorful patterns. This kind of easter eggs were called ‘biserky’.
Hekske and Falke truly enjoyed the typically Slavic cosy atmosphere of the Easter celebrations. And after nightfall, they lit a bonfire, sang spellbinding age-old witch’s songs and they performed folk dances around the fire until well past midnight. 
This was easily the cosiest Easter Hekske and Falke had ever experienced…

I had the incredible honor to play at the Spirit Space at Mystic Creatures Festival. What a wonderful experience to play music in this safe and slow space. Could have not imagined a more beautiful setting for this journey around 85 BPM. Thanks to all those beautiful souls that showed up to dance, chill, rest, dream or drift. Thank you to @truenaturemusic who played a wonderful set before me, thanks to all my loved ones that made the long journey by train and bus from Zurich to the festival! This was a live jam accompanied by the incredibly talented Suyana (@veerle-kumpen) performed for the beautiful people at Heart Culture Festival in Austria. None of this music was pre-arranged, I had groups of clips and created the arrangements out of those clips on the fly in response to the energy of the moment. The vibe was incredibly special, people really tuned in and offered us the opportunity to dive deep into experimentation and to let things flow effortlessly from the heart. These loops are parts of tracks I have also arranged and released.

This is a live recording of one of my favorite sets from the SunSet Cacao Dance's I played this season in Guatemala at Eagles Nest. The journey starts with a cacao ceremony and then begins with slower, spacious music. The energy builds slowly through the mix and peaks followed by a cool down towards the end as the energy comes back down. These sorts of sets are some of my favorites to play. This set also contains some of my unreleased tunes.
