Melena was invited to be the first female instrumentalist to record with the legendary Septeto Nacional de Ignacio Piñeiro since their founding in 1927. This song was written for Melena by Frank Oropesa "El Matador", the director of the Septeto Nacional. The song is about Melena being born in a modest neighborhood of Havana called, Coco Solo.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, DriXx MADison has always had a deep passion for music. His debut single "Shy But Fly" was released in August of 2013 from his independent album “Wolves ARE Coming”: The Lost Debut of 2009. DriXx has worked in a variety of fields including Accounting, Group Homes with mentally challenged youth, and helping teach inner-city kids multimedia through AmeriCorps. After completing school for Audio Engineering, he interned at Production and Grammy award winning music studios. He then went on to host his own radio show playing unsigned artists.  In 2020, he co-founded a film and media training vocational school for underserved populations in the heart of Los Angeles. Through it all, his heart has always led back to music.
