Camp Wedding Part 4

So this was a party I wont soon forget.  Very small party and people were dancing to traditional party music you would hear at a wedding that gets everyone dancing.  The client made great requests and I stuck to them and played them all.  
Its now 1155 pm and I get a request for Alyus Follow Me.  She asks if I know the song and give her a big grin!
I change from the traditional party music and play her request.  She says it was her and the brides Jam back in tha day.
The beat drops at (1hr 22 in mix) midnight and a white dress comes running across the room jumping up and down.  
The clients didn't give me any indication of the style of music I was about to play for the next 70 minutes!  Just like that we are back in a club in the early 90s!
All it took was one request!
The bride and groom and their friends didnt leave the floor for the rest of the night.  It was one epic drop after another!  The bartender was bored.  The photobooth had no one using it for an hour.
I got a little bit of a look from the venue because little did I know I got lost in the music and the mix...it was after 1am!  
This shows how important the right music mix is to a party.  It was all the guests teleported back to the club days of the early 90s.
Enjoy the mix and yes...they asked for sweet caroline as the last song of the night!

All it took was one request

Normally at a party, a DJ gets about 4 hours or more to play music.  But when speeches, memories are shared at a celebration...everyone looses track of time.  
This was one of those parties.
But when the first song of the night dropped and the first one of the floor was the bride,  we knew it was going to be a slammin party to the end.  
All the songs that were played were requested by the couple with a few guest requests tossed in.  
For only playing a couple of hours...this party will rank up there as one of the best 2 hour power sets!

After years of work, a bunch of sound engineering classes and and upgraded studio office we are ready to launch. What is a hitter? In this mix, there are 33 songs in a one hour mix! Normally most djs only play about 12 to 18 songs.
Listen to the mix and you will find the songs arent really altered at all! They are a little easier for djs to mix and weve taken out the filler and long intros of songs.
