One night, lying alone in what had been our bed, I found myself consumed by dark thoughts and questions, wondering where she was and what my place in the world now was. From those raw emotions came the poem that became this song—a reflection of love, loss, and the haunting ache of letting go.

Sunday Scaries (Bruises by Monday) is a darkly funny, soul-soaked spiral into education burnout. Female vocals float through whispered dread, sarcastic skits, and verses full of raw truths. A blend of neo-soul and hip-hop with a chill flow and heavy heart.

Built this in the basement with a mic, a laptop, and way too many unpaid overtime hours.

This one’s for anyone still carrying love in the quiet.
Not the kind that begs to come back, just the kind that lingers.  That shows up in old songs, in the way someone laughs, in the ghost of a routine.

I wrote Please Stay (Memories of You) for my daughters mother, my ex-wife, after life pulled us in different directions. She’s getting married to her wife now.  And while that still stings, I wanted to honor what we had; without shame, without bitterness.  Just… love, reshaped.

If you’ve ever had to let go without hate, just heartbreak, I hope this song wraps around you like the memories you’re trying to hold onto.

“Please Don’t Take (The Quiet Things)” is about my ex-wife, my best friend, my safe place; who came out years into our marriage and has since found someone new.  It’s not angry. It’s not begging.  It’s just me honoring the quiet, everyday love we had, the soft stuff people forget about.
This one’s for the couch naps, the grocery lists, the coffee on Sundays.  For the flannel shirts and whispered plans.  For the gentle ache I’ll always carry.
