Dr.NO started in 1998. Back then working as a promoter in various Ibiza clubs like Amnesia or Space he established his contacts within  the international DJ scene. 
It was also in this year when he gained a lot of experience playing various gigs on the world famous party island. 
Back in Austria the following year, he soon managed to establish himself as a well sought-after artist doing numerous gigs in Austria. Within short time Dr.NO became the resident DJ of the legendary “House of Elements“ clubbings, specializing on Balearic Grooves and Pumpin Tunes. 
More gigs, such as „Rave Nation“, „The Renaissance“, „Premiere League“, „Magic Castle“ or „Electric Nation“ followed quickly, building the base of his international reputation. 
 
In 2003 Dr.NO made his passion to his profession and also extended his artistical range as a DJ into Progressive House and Electro
Nowadays internationally appreciated, he succeeds in Germany (Club La Rocca, Alabama City, Nachtwerk), Hungary (Up Side Down), Egypt (Full Moon), Istanbul(NuPera) and Spain (Amnesia, Km5). 

Besides being a successful club act, Dr.NO is also a frequent performer at events or festivals with thousands of enthusiastic listeners like Vienna‘s "Love Parade" and Zürich‘s "Street Parade”, Red Bull’s „Blue Elements“, „Goliath“ in Switzerland, the „MTV Winter Jam“, the „Space Ibiza World Tour“, the world’s largest snowboard event - the “NOKIA Air & Style“ or Europe‘s biggest open air festival, the „Donauinselfest MTV Stage“ in Vienna. 

As the resident DJ of Salzburg‘s new prime club „Half Moon“, Dr.NO is frequently spinning his tunes hosting numerous stars like Sven Väth, Erick Morillo,Pete Tong, Martin Solveig, Phats & Small, Westbam, Tom Novy, Fedde le Grand, Loco Dice, Pippi, Funkerman and many more. 

In April 2009, Dr.NO - one of Austria‘s most popular DJ’s in the Electronic Dance Community – is taking the next step in his carreer, releasing his first single Dr.No & Tom Leeland „On The Ceiling Tonight“ which will be Releast at Deepah Recordings.

Sanel stands for dynamic and power, Rhythm and tradition, with sounds which carry to far distances.

The way there is based with beginning of the early 90ies, already as a young teen Sanel started, to collect several music and sound, diverse styles, as they were played in the early Techno and House scenes.

This directly lead to a great fascination, especially the interaction of technologies, combined with natural sounds and classical arrangements.

By then, Sanel put together step by step, what had to be connected:

His interest, his emthusiasm, his creativity. But also Influences of his origin.

Born in Germany, Sanel grew up in Bosnia, the home region of his parents.
Traditional Balkan Folklore, lively, melodicly, full of emotion of the region.

Sanel is powerful and determined, but with this always lovingly, with focus on smallest details, variable, energetic.

Direction: pushing it all forward, Standing still means going backwards.
Exactly these properties showing up in his sets.
Powerful beats access, and keep pushing it forward, in order to drive. Without leaving another Option. And then these described roots show up, in order to fill the complete construction of sound.

It all fuses - instrumental and vocal balkan elements, with electronic sounds, becoming a fascinating synthesis, pushing, and incomparable and distinctive.

Standing still means going backwards. So there is so much more to come.

Signed to Luvlite Recordings, Turntables On The Hudson and Cyron Music, TORNQVIST (aka Oliver Ferdinand) is an insider tip in the editing and remixing scene.

TORNQVIST has released many edits that have reached the HYPEDDITS charts, including "Yali Yali (Nese Karaböcek)", "Italove (Emmanuelle)" and "Come On and Love Me (Lenny Kravitz)", all of which climbed to #1.

In 2015 he appeared as a special guest on the "BLUE DYE rec. Radio Show" on IBIZA LIVE RADIO.

2017 was his biggest release year to date, with his Yali Yali edit reaching #1 on the HYPEDDIT Indie Dance/Nu Disco Charts. It has now been played over 210,000 times across multiple platforms. Later in 2018, legendary DJ Greg Wilson played the edit on the radio and on multiple shows, and selected Oliver Ferdinand's 'Yali Yali' for his 'GREG WILSON'S 20 CHOICE EDITS & REWORKS 2018'.

At the beginning of 2018 Oliver Ferdinand released the Basspatrol mix of Florzinho's "We are One" - the original track appeared on BUDDHA BAR XX.

In 2020 Oliver Ferdinand started his electronic music project TORNQVIST, followed by the first release "Septic", which included a remix by Megablast, one of the most passionate music lovers and producers/DJs in the Austrian club music scene and far beyond. "Septic" climbed to #22 in the BEATPORT Organic House/Downtempo Charts. The remix reached #74 on the Canadian iTunes Charts.

Shortly after, he released his track "New World (Original Mix)" on "Turntables On The Hudson" from Brooklyn/NYC - together with the well-known Dubai DJ Megatronic.

In 2021 TORNQVIST contributed a guest mix to the legendary SWOUND SOUND radio show. DJ Makossa & MC Sugar B have been presenting their weekly Saturday night radio DJ mix show on Austrian nationwide radio station FM4 since 1992! Their show regularly features internationally renowned artists such as Kruder & Dorfmeister, Booka Shade and Oliver Koletzki.
