Andrew Weatherall once likened the overwhelmingly vast collection of music on the Internet to a supermarket having too much jam on the shelves. Give customers too much choice (whether that be fruit preserves or music) and the adverse effect will take hold whereby s/he on the receiving end will walk away empty handed, anxious at the idea of filtering the options. That ‘too much jam’ feeling, y’know?

In this age where electronic music, as we know it, is slowly becoming increasingly homogenised, it's why we think it's important that we strive to paddle away from the forceful, mainstream current and use of wealth of knowledge and tastes to bring to light deserving productions in a whole myriad of styles. It's sort of our thing. So without further ado may we present to you the musical stylings of Superpoze, the fast rising producer at the vanguard of a new school of French beatmakers set to take the musical world by storm.

First coming to our attention at influential French festival Transmusicales and later via his work with compatriots Dream Koala and STWO, it only takes a brief listen to the work of Superpoze to find yourself a fan, with his melody driven take on electronica enough to melt even the most industrial of hearts. With his hotly anticipated debut album 'Opening' arriving June 8th via Combien Mille Records, 2015 looks set to be a massive year for the young gallic producer as he sets his sights on world domination. Mix For WE WIN C Tokyo

My first ever recording! Only a couple months into djing when this was made. Had my controller for about 2 weeks at this point. Was planning to rerecord, but decided to just release it, after holding on to it for 6 months. 
 
A mixture of deep and progressive techno and house, inspired by the need to dance during these pandemic times, and inspired by the BIPOC rights movement and revolution. 

Im happy with how it turned out overall in terms of tracks and the dancing vibe I wanted. I hope you enjoy it, and let me know what you think!

While fairly newer to the scene as a DJ, Dan Drogynous (they/them) is no stranger to the dance floor. With passion and roots connected to many styles of underground electronic music, Dan Drogynous seeks to create the dance floor experience that they love to indulge in. Emerging over the past couple years of the abyss, they have been keeping dancer floor dwellers on their toes, bringing a non-binary variety of flavours into their sets and keeping the journey fluid. They enjoy spinning the mood and story that they are currently experiencing.

Making their DJ debut on an Architextures live stream during the first year of the Pandemic, they have since been seen gracing the decks for Wiggle Room events and Camp Wiggly, Bloom, Impulse, Bassline, Generating Beatz, Friend Zone, Lossless, Phantom, Skeledance as well as renegade beach parties and house jams. Dan Drogynous loves experimenting with their sounds to create an interesting experience that ranges from house to techno to indie dance, four on the floor to breaks, deep and sexy to bouncy and groovy. They are also especially fond of some of the retro synth sounds of the 80’s and acid basslines of the 303’s.
