Departure

I experiment with plug-ins like a guitarist experiments with pedals.  My sounds are heavily influenced by shoegaze.  Being a classically trained singer, I am able to focus on the sonic quality of a sound more so than the notes used to obtain that sound.  Some of my ambient music is comprised of samples from various rock artist . 

I experiment with cassette tape loops, making 7-10 at a time and then I choose which ones I want to layer.  I take apart songs and put them back together to try and achieve what I hear in my mind.
